Completed tasks are showing in my project

This is expected behavior. When you complete a task inside a project, it moves to the Done group at the bottom of that project view. Completed tasks stay visible there until you or Nirvana moves them to the Logbook.

Hide the Done group

To collapse the Done group without logging the items:

  • Click Done at the top of the Done group to collapse it. Click again to expand.

The items are still there — they're just out of your way while you focus on active work.

Move completed actions to the Logbook

Manually, per item:

  • In the Done group, drag the completed action to the Logbook in the sidebar (web app).
  • On mobile, swipe the item left and tap the logbook icon.

All done items at once:

  • Press C in the web app (or click Cleanup in the top nav) to send all Done items across all your lists to the Logbook in one step.

Automatically:

Enable auto-collection in Settings → Preferences → Logbook → Move immediately. Completed items will go straight to the Logbook without stopping in the Done group.

Why logged actions still appear in a project

If you log individual actions but haven't logged the project itself, those actions remain visible in the project's Done group until the project is also moved to the Logbook. The project acts as a container — its contents go with it when it's logged.
