N2 Build 186 — Evil Tags Begone

N2 Build 186 has been pushed live. Another maintenance release, but a rather excellent one for those who have been experiencing problems with tags. We took a stab at stabbing the ampersand bug. With any luck N2 should no longer get confused by them. (for the technically inclined: we no longer deal in html entities)

Also, we made the decision to disallow double quotes and angle brackets from tag names. Any occurrence of double quotes or angle brackets will be stripped out. Please accept our apologies if you were using these in your tags… our hope is that you can find alternate characters to substitute.

In the eye-candy department, the Sync button now has a nifty little status indicator light.
